Privacy policy

LanesMac uses the macOS Accessibility permission to arrange your windows, and all of that happens on your Mac. It never records keystrokes, window titles, screen contents or documents.

There are no analytics, no crash reports, no accounts and no tracking. Your settings and layouts are stored only on your Mac.

When you activate a license, LanesMac sends your license key and an anonymous ID of your Mac (a one-way code that can't identify you or your computer) to our payment provider, Dodo Payments, once. After activation LanesMac works offline.

LanesMac also connects to lanesmac.com when you choose Check for Updates. It collects no other data.

Payments, invoices and tax are handled by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record; we never see your card details. From each purchase we receive your name, email address, what you bought and your license key, so we can help you with your license.

All purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by law.

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for a short time to keep the site secure.
